 Pastor Byron's call as Senior Pastor at Zion began in April 2009. He has previously served parishes in Alamo, North Dakota, Whalan, Minnesota and Wanamingo, Minnesota. Married to Lois for 35 years, they have the joy of being parents to five daughters: Sarah, Alecia, Hannah, Laura and Christina. Pastor Byron grew up on a farm near Hendrum, Minnesota, graduated from California Lutheran Bible School and Azusa Pacific University with a major in Social Work prior to attending Luther Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota. Pastor Byron is an avid Minnesota Twins fan (sometimes a great tester of patience) and finds much joy in outdoor work projects. His favorite Bible verse is John 10:10 where Jesus says, "I came that you may have life, and have it abundantly".  Pastor Emily became the Associate Pastor at Zion in August of 2009. She was raised in Iowa, but has warmly embraced life in the state of Minnesota. She attended Wartburg College and explored many majors before eventually ending up with a degree in English Literature. Pastor Emily attended seminary at The Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago.

Anna joined the staff at Zion in August of 2010 as Youth Director. She was born and raised in Owatonna, MN. She graduated from Mankato State University with a degree in Spanish. She enjoys running, traveling and reading.
